Maxime Laurin and Caitlin McNerney embarked on their filmmaking journey with the release of their indie short film 'Skateblood' in 2020. Following its success in the festival circuit, they went on to create five more award-winning shorts, exploring a range of genres such as dark comedy and horror in 'Skateblood,' drama in 'Deep Encounters,' comedy in 'The Nanny' & 'Jungle Chic,' sci-fi in 'The White Rock,' and action in 'The Last Breath.' Notably, their films have been nominated at prominent festivals like VIFF and MIFF, and they achieved the distinction of being among the top 4% out of 4000 films at the Indie Short Fest LA.
